I've been a member of the organization for a somthing like a year now,
And i must say, Rotem is right, This isnt working.
Legalize + other organizations are thinking of running to the knesset
which is quite too fast if you ask me, you gotta learn to crawl before you learn to walk
and learn to walk before you learn to run.
To my humble opinion, the past year was a disaster for legalize, The only thing legalize did was
having a small rallies here and there which was consisted of somthing around 200 peoples.
Those rallies didnt do any help, execpt rasing a fairly small amount of money.
To my humble opinion (again), Things need to be changed,
Instead of Focusing on the knesset which only wastes time and money since its quite obvios that
getting enough votes is nothing more then a dream for now.
Instead of that, Legalize should focus on helping, getting people to volunteer
and start helping those who needs it (as rotem suggested) which will obviosly show the public we
mean good, and not just a bunch of potheads.
In addition to helping out with needles, and help fighting the (HARD) drugs epidemic,
we should also do anything we can to be heard.
The best way to do that would be to write letters, Not just the heads of legalize, but everyone,
Write letters to the press to the goverment and to the rashut, You dont have to say somthing new
Each time, but just keep writing, and speaking to anyone who's willing to listen.
The situation will not change by itself,
We cant win the drug war by sitting home, Publishing a new article on the web page every few weeks
and having a rally once in a while.
To win we have to stay active, not just once in a while but all the time.
Being numb will get us nowhere.
Think about it,
